Description

24 by 24 inch Wisconsin Rustic Road highway sign.  the sign is made to the 1973 state specification which introduced the Rustic Road network of lightly used rural trails appropriate for all manners of transport, including pedestrians and bicycles.  this particular example was installed in 1995, but the manufacture is probably a solid decade older.
condition is as shown in the photos.  sign is screen printed on smooth reflective off-white sheeting, on half-inch thick wood.  it lies completely straight and flat, and has patina commensurate with its service.
