VINTAGE SIGNED 1961 NASCAR Program Fireball Roberts, Rex White & Banjo Mathews.
This program was recently pulled from a north Georgia estate. The main retractions are that the staples have rusted (southern humidity) and there is a faint center crease (from where it was most likely carried in the back pocket at the race).
Unsure if this was from the Bristol or Nashville race that year.
There are two autographs on the front cover in blue ink. Fireball Roberts (finished second to Jack Smith at Bristol) and Rex White. Banjo Mathews signed and number his picture on the inside.
I do not have any type of COA, etc on this piece. However I have no doubts that all signatures are legitimate. The owner of this program was on leave from the military when he attended this race.
