This charming vintage half body dress form is made of wicker.  It has that worn, chippy, shabby chic appeal to it.  The wicker does have several breaks in it from age and use.  Because the wicker is very old, and dried out, it is very fragile, and will break easily if handled improperly.  It should only be used for decorating purposes.  The dress form has a vintage corsage loosely pinned to it, which is included.  For pick up only, too fragile to ship.  Must be picked up in two weeks, unless more time is needed, then please contact me to make arrangements.

They are being sold in "as found" condition.  Like most vintage and antique pieces, they develop individual characteristics from wear and tear over time.  Crazing (spider web crackling in the glaze on top of porcelain/ceramic pieces) and utensil marks are commonly found on vintage, and antique pieces, of ceramic, porcelain & china.  Additionally, factory production marks and flaws are not uncommon on vintage, and antique pieces of glass, depression glass, ceramics, porcelain, plastics, metals, etc.  Typically, you will see pockmarks, air bubbles, uneven or rough surfaces, excess paint, excess clay, and other deformities, as a result of mass production in older factories.  In fact, in some cases, these production marks assist appraisers, and collectors with verifying the authenticity of these older pieces.  Age related wear and tear, and factory marks/flaws do not diminish the overall beauty of vintage and antique collectibles, they can actually enhance the “personality” of these pieces by giving them unique individual characteristics.  If there is obvious damage such as cracks, breaks, dents, fleabites, missing pieces, or repairs.  I will disclose this information in my item description.  If I have misrepresented this item in my auction description, you will receive a full refund of both the item cost and the shipping cost.  I strive very hard to be accurate and to be sure that the item you receive is what you expected.  Cleaning antiques and vintage pieces can be quite tricky, because of this I do not attempt to clean any of the items that I sell.  I will leave that to the new owner.  It’s best to consult a professional before attempting to clean older pieces.  I learned this the hard way!   I also do not sell items that have come from a smoking environment.  They may be a little dirty and dusty, but they will not smell of smoke, I steer clear of buying such items.
