    Vintage Canterbury Belts LTD Hussar Officer Latex Advertiser Store Display
    This unusual, Canterbury Belts Ltd latex, Hussar Officer, advertiser display form is from the late 1960's. The uniform on this peculiar character resembles most to United Kindom's 11th Regiment Hussars /Prince Albert's Own formed in 1715 worn by a Hindu officer.
    Canterbury Belts was most famous for their Surcingle Belt - a piece that came to be associated with preppy or Ivy League-dressed men in the late 1960's.
    Some models of this Officer have a belt display rod running through the shoulder area but this one does not include the rod.
    This lightweight, latex, display piece is 23.75" tall.
    The triangular base is 7" long x 5.5" wide.
    It is marked on the back Artistic Latex Form Co. N.Y.
    The blow-mold form is a depiction of a Royal Army Hussar Officer - from the 1850's Crimean War.
