vintage Braniff International red vinyl carry on travel bag Flying Colors

Description

This is an original Braniff travel bag in red vinyl.  Made by the imaginatively named Airline Textile Mfg Co.  Style number is R1615 PSSD.
The bag is approximately 15 inches tall and the base is approximately 7 x 13 inches.  Interior bottom of the bag has a thick wood byproduct base that the metal feet are attached to.  The vinyl on this bag is quite beefy.
Condition is overall very good.  There is some slight cracking in the vinyl where the handles are attached to the bag (see photos).  There's also a small nick in the vinyl below one of the shoulder strap loops on the side of the bag (see photo). That's a macro photo; it isn't as noticeable in person.  There's also another small crack in the vinyl at the botton along the edge of the base.  Also not very noticeable.  There must have once been a shoulder strap for the bag, but sorry, it's gone.
This is a one-owner bag; be assured it's a Braniff.
