18 by 24 inch Trenton, Delaware River Bridge road sign.  the sign dates to approximately the 1950s.  the Lower Trenton Bridge between New Jersey and Pennsylvania was opened in 1928 (replacing an original 1806 bridge) and the famous Trenton Makes, the World Takes slogan was added in 1935.
condition is as shown in the photos.  sign is beaded reflective sheeting on masonite (a wood-based material similar to fiber board).  it lies completely straight and flat and may very well be completely unused - New Old Stock.  you won't find a nicer one!
