    Description

    An original antique scarce variant counter top chalkware store display figure for Green Mountain Whiskey Owensboro Kentucky featuring their trade mark elderly Black Man with his older horse which has a jug of Green River Whiskey strapped to the saddle. The figure is solid chalkware and measures approximately 11 3/4" tall by 14" wide. This is the much scarcer variant where the Black Man stands further away from the horse. Item has its wonderful original factory paint (best I have ever seen on one of these) with just the right amount of patina and is in very nice condition with no repairs etc just some minor wear to the paint and a small chip on the horses tail. A great item which is completely fresh to the market from the estate of a old time collector.
