    Description

    Up for auction is a primitive antique 19th century folk art grain painted hat or wig stand recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  It is offered in good used condition.  Stands like these were used for display purposes in stores for wigs and hats.  Condition issues include chips and losses to paint throughout, wobbly, one splayed foot looks repaired.  Approx 9.5" tall, top ball approx 2".  Base approx 4x4".  Great primitive appearance.
