Philippines Hat purchased by US Air Force Colonel
Hat is new and unused. Purchased by a WWII Bomber Pilot who stayed in the US Air Force until 1986 and Retired as a "Full Bird" Colonel. He served in WWII , Korea and Vietnam and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
He owned his own plane and continued to fly recreationally until 1994. He lived in the US but owned a home in Angeles City, Philippines right outside of the Clark Air Base in Angeles City until it was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991.
The Colonel was a real swinger and collected these hats from his travels.
