Presented for your consideration is this interesting book. The book is a souvenir book from the Michigan Soldiers Home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The book has full page black and white photos of scenes around the Michigan Soldiers Home grounds. Some of the scenes pictured are: Women's Building, Main Building, Elks, Library, Grizzly Bears, Hospital, Concert Hall, and Nurse's Lodge. The first two pages have portraits of the military leaders of the home and the first page lists the names of the directors, field and staff. All pages appear to be intact. Finished with a red softcover with dark gold lettering on the front cover. Binding is tight. This neat book would make a great addition to any military or Michigan memorabilia collection!
One page has some surface tearing along the edge and one page is torn halfway up. Name of a previous owner is on the inside back cover. Back cover has two small stains on it. Typical light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
Measures 4 1/2" long, 6" wide and 1/8" thick.
