24 by 24 inch Nebraska state route 4 highway sign.  the sign dates to approximately the 1990s.  it is made to the specification that has been in use in Nebraska from 1975 to the present day.
condition is as shown in the photos.  sign is black screen print on honeycomb white reflective sheeting on aluminum.  it lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service.
