Vintage Nakamichi BX-125 2-head stereo cassette deck with Dolby B & C noise reduction, made in Japan.
Original owner
, purchased in 1985 (see pic of receipt). Always well cared for and properly boxed for moves, as you can see since I still have the box, materials & receipt after 35 years.
Original manual, box, and packing materials included.
It's been boxed in a closet since our last move about 10 years ago. I tested powering it on (with a tape), and every function and control works fine with positive action and no slipping, but I don't have equipment to actually listen to it anymore. It's never had an issue and the heads & roller were cleaned regularly when I was using it. I do remember that I had had the belts replaced at some point.
Overall excellent condition - there are a couple of small nicks along the top edge that I got closeup pics of.
