Louisiana state highway 843 route marker road sign green map 1995

Description

24 by 24 inch Louisiana state route 843 highway sign.  the sign dates to 1995, and is made to the 1963 specification that introduced the green map on a white background.  the map got more detailed in the late 1990s, and then was replaced with a black and white shield of identical design around 2007.
condition is as shown in the photos.  sign is green screen print on plain white reflective sheeting on aluminum.  it lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service.
