Lot of 2 Vintage Military 1.5 volt Dry Cell Batteries For Display

Description

This is a lot of two Batteries the same size as the standard Number 6.  They are in good cosmetic condition and are being sold for display only. The terminal voltage is about .9 volts. These don't have any part numbers on them.  They weigh a little more than one pound each.  I suspect that there is a smaller battery inside the plastic case. They were removed from a Leeds and Northrup measuring device and probably are special reference voltage units.  They look like the case could be cut and opened and use to hold modern batteries.
