Presented for your consideration is this neat antique Indian bust. The chalkware bust would have originally been used in a cigar/tobacco store as a store display. It pictures a Hiawatha Indian from the shoulders up and his head looking to the side. He wears tribal necklaces and serious expression on his face. The bust is completed with a dark green painted, square base with "Hiawatha" written on the left side. Very intricate detailing and nice coloration is displayed throughout the bust. Paint looks to be all original. Guaranteed to be old. Dates to the early 1900s. This interesting bust would make a great addition to any tobacco or Native American memorabilia collection!
Light paint wear is present from age and use. No chips or cracks. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 20" tall, 11 1/2" wide at the widest point and 9" deep.
