12 by 18 inch Don't Be a Litter Bug sign.  the sign is of unknown origin, and dates to probably the 1950s or 1960s.  secondary text says "help keep your community clean!" and the graphic is of a bug wearing pants, shoes, and a hat.  he is dutifully, yet casually, placing assorted refuse into the appropriate receptacle.
condition is as shown in the photos.  sign is screen printed green on white paint, on steel.  it lies completely straight and flat, with patina commensurate with its service.  yes, it has been graffitied for maximum vandal-crossover value.
