Description
18 inch circle Go Right sign from Connecticut. the sign style was around in Connecticut, and to a lesser extent Rhode Island, from the 1920s to the 1970s before it was replaced by the now-standard "island" regulatory sign that means the same thing: stay to the right of a particular barrier dividing you from oncoming traffic. this particular example appears to be from the latter end of that range, and was commissioned by the Board of Selectmen of an unknown town.condition is as shown in the photos. sign is black screen print on yellow reflective sheeting, on half-inch thick wood. it lies completely straight and flat, with excellent original paint as seen in the photos. patina is commensurate with its service.
