Up for sale today is this California US 66 route sign. Made to the exact standards as used between 1956 and 1957 along this famous road.
the originals of this sign came with Stimsonite #1 plastic reflectors as made by the California Division of Highways.
this listing features only the 66 sign itself and the backplate, with no reflectors or bolts.  the other components are standard and readily sourced for the DIY type.  please inquire as to what other components you would need - or just need the specifications for - and I will help find them for you.  the key elements - the route shield with correct design printed, and holes cut precisely to specification, and the backplate to match perrectly - are what is available here for purchase.
