    Description

1992 Honda NSR 250 SP Rothmans edition. Please read carefully. It along with 8 other bikes got submerged in Hurricane Ian, I live in St James City, FL, you can look it up. It ran before the flood but not great. I think it needed a piston job at min and I would really have done a total rebuild anyway to make it a great rider. I have videos of it running and the repairs, etc that were done before hand. At this moment some parts and panels and the pipes are off it so that I could flush and lube, wd40... THE MOTOR SPINS FREELY. It does not look much different than it did because when you import from Japan you get oxidation anyhow. My thought it that is was worth around K before and now I have discounted it for needed repairs and parts hunting. It has a broken ear on the fairing as seen in pic, it can be repaired. I also have a new old stock fairing that is NOT included in this sale. The Chinese repro is included but has a small crack at mirror mount that I glued. They are so rare and this is a real SP with Magtek, etc.. From what I have researched this bike is 1499 out of 1500 made in 1992. Her sisters in the garage, the Yamaha RD350, Kawasaki's, KR-1S, KR-1R and KR-1R also got submerged. I won't be giving them away but someone can get a good deal. I am interested in real buyers and have no problem with them calling me for more details, better yet, come see. This needs to be an informed buyer with cash and knowledge of these special bikes. I would keep them and may depending on what kind of offers I get. I have adopted way too many new home projects as a result of the Hurricane and am burned out so I am willing to let my dream bike projects go. Please call me if you are serious, I don’t have much time to message back and forth. VERY IMPORTANT: I had them partially insured with Hagerty so I had to turn in the titles and it takes about 2-3 months to get them back and they will be SALVAGE titles from what I understand and can be converted back to Rebuilt. I will forward title to you upon receiving it. Buyer is responsible for pick up and or shipping, I will assist with shipping. This will be full disclosure; I am a bike guy and want other bikes guys/gals to get the information they need. Thank you.
