1980 Honda Pacific Coast

Relisting.
My Honda Pacific Coast was sold twice earlier, but seems it attracted bidders that want to "make payments" OR "I am selling ****** and if you can wait a few days, I will have the money".  Of course that resulted  in "deal fell through, but I have buyer for my ##### I am selling and will have money next week-please wait till then"  Bidders with zero rating and no money are getting to be an issue !
. Due to those bidders having "0" feedback and only registered with eBay for a short time.....I will set up bidder restrictions to hopefully avoid that problem.  But just in case, please do not do not bid if you're a recent registration with zero feedback. I reserve the right to cancel such bids.
I have been riding bikes for  60+ years, but wife no longer rides.
So selling bike to make a happy wife  LOL.
The bike runs just fine &  has given me many years of dependable enjoyment..
Nothing really wrong with bike except needing a little beautification and normal maintenance.
Negatives :
Some tiny cracks in plastic edges here and there.  But at 31 years old that is to be expected.
Rear tire almost bald and a good time to replace brake shoes if needed...a new set I bought are still in box & comes with the bike.
There is damage on left side next to left side "glove" box. Hit it  with lawn mower handle.  JB Weld repair, but  needs sanded better &    painted.....will make sure there is a picture of it in listing.
On other hand.  the plastic body parts are easily available on eBay in right color (red) at decent prices
Rear of bikes plastic area is faded by 10 years of  sunshine...some paint would take care of it.
Battery is 5 years old, but still starts the bike just fine....Walmart battery
Positives:
Front tire has half decent tread left on it.  Is about 5 years old.
Front disc brake pads have been replaced with new ones.
Starts, runs, shifts just fine.
Added  custom spring in cargo compartment years ago...so trunk "pops" open nicely
Added "high back" bar to rear passenger seat..wife did not like having nothing behind her back but the tiny factory set up.
I also found the it also gives an little pocket to keep things in.like bungee cords to bring packages home LOL
.The "high back" is also great to strap a fishing pole to ...have a lovely 4 mile ride to beach for fishing..
Actual mileage on the bike is 42,024 .
All gauges work as they should
All lights work fine.
I changed stock horn to a set of "blaster" air horns....Honda Pacific Coast is so quiet that folks did not hear me coming...now they do !
Does not use or burn any oil....of course not...it is a Honda
Replaced stock windshield with new type  "high profile" one 8 inches higher than stock...tired of rain drops and bugs hitting my face.
Comes with matching red & black nylon weather cover with matching storage bag.
Has original owners manual with it.
Have used synthetic oil for the oil changes  since I bought it over decade ago..
Bikes serial number is  JH2RC3405LM101498   so you can verify that history is CLEAN.
I have clear Florida title in hand
Shipping / pickup is responsibility of buyer...Easily fits in small U-Haul trailer.. Just look up bike measurements on Google.
Bike has given me a decade of dependable, faithful, & fun service  !
